In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 personalization apps on the Android platform in Ghana showed varied performance in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared.

Control Center Simple from TD Application saw significant growth in weekly downloads, starting at 7K in early April and peaking at 42K by the end of the month. Downloads then fluctuated, ending the quarter at around 21K. The app also experienced a steady rise in weekly active users, beginning at 26K and reaching 145K by late June.

Color Phone Call Screen Theme by Lutech Ltd maintained a modest increase in weekly downloads, starting at 5.4K and ending at 8.2K. Active users also grew consistently, from 20K at the start of April to nearly 35K by the end of June.

Zipper Lock Screen Wallpapers, another app by Lutech Ltd, showed a dramatic rise in weekly downloads from 330 in early April to a peak of 18K in mid-May, before stabilizing around 5.5K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 1.8K to 13K over the quarter.

Launcher and Themes by Cards saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 1.9K and peaking at 4.1K in early May. Active users also varied, beginning at 7.1K and reaching 10.8K by the end of June.

Lastly, Launcher OS from Apps Genz experienced steady weekly downloads, starting at 1.7K and peaking at 3.8K in mid-April, with a gradual decline to 1.4K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 7.2K and ending at 8.2K.
